Joe is an experienced financial analyst and supports NEXA projects with industry research, economic & fleet forecasting, and financial analysis.
His projects with NEXA include researching providers of flight status data and development of a multifunctional pricing model for a new aviation data product. He has profiled potential investors relating to a project for the United Nations and he has also developed a 30-year fleet forecast for U.S. aviation industry to support equipage for Nextgen projects.
Prior to joining NEXA, Joe held the position of Escrow Analyst with Wachovia Securities, one of the leading brokerage firms and investment banks in the U.S. While in this position, he was responsible for administering $450 MM in escrowed funds held within 3,200 commercial mortgages under the Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities portfolio.
Joe obtained the Series 7 securities license required for the position of Investment Specialist with First Union Securities. His primary focus was sales of the asset management brokerage account and investment products to existing bank customers. He analyzed client portfolios and market trends while advising on asset allocation, qualified rollovers, and non-qualified holdings to accommodate client's market experience and risk tolerance.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Management from the Hugh McColl School of Business, Queens University, Charlotte, NC. Joe has achieved certification under the Microsoft Certified Application Specialist program. He is a member Royal Aeronautical Society and is also fluent in Portuguese and Spanish
