Jim is a seasoned private equity professional with financial, operational and strategic expertise in the transportation, logistics, and technology sectors, where his roles have ranged from consulting to venture capital.
With ten years of transportation/supply chain experience, he supports NEXA's clients in growing enterprise value, with transaction execution in asset finance, leveraged leasing, and public-private partnerships. Jim also develops optimal equity and debt capital strategies while connecting clients with complementary investment partners from NEXA's extensive syndicate.
Prior to joining NEXA, Jim worked in a management consulting role with Accenture, where he advised both government and commercial clients on logistics and technology projects involving asset management, revenue strategy, and enterprise resource planning.
As an industrial engineer with UPS he directed process and workforce planning and supervised the implementation of its industry-leading technology through standardization and optimization of delivery operations.
Jim holds his Masters of Business Administration from The Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia as well as dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering from Northwestern University.
